Start with the service scope
Tinting one window, the rear of the car and removing old film are different scopes. Provide the make, model, year and body style for a quote. Specify the windows; “the whole car” may need clarification.
What goes into the quote?
Price reflects the material and work required to prepare and film the glass. Window count, size, shape and access matter. Vehicle size alone does not describe the job, so compare quotes for the same model and scope.
Old film can change the cost
Mention existing film at the start. Its condition and adhesive residue affect removal time. Ask for old-film removal to be included in the quote so you can compare the complete scope of work.
What should you ask before deciding?
Two similar prices may cover different materials or services. Before booking, confirm exactly what the quote includes.
- Which windows and film option are included?
- Does it include old-film removal and additional work?
- What are the expected timing and warranty coverage?
