Window tinting and regulations
The light transmission of the finished glass matters. The film percentage alone does not establish compliance.
Glass + film, not film alone
Factory glass already limits transmitted light. A film rated at 70% VLT therefore does not automatically deliver 70% for the finished window.
A 70% minimum for front windows
Section 8(5)(4) of the Polish vehicle technical requirements sets a minimum 70% light transmission for windscreens and front side windows. This applies to glass with the installed film.

70 or 75 percent? Is film certification enough?
Section 8(5)(4) specifies at least 70% for windscreens and front side glass. A material document does not establish the result for a finished window. Glass, film and other application requirements matter. Measurement is not type approval.
