When can you lower the windows?
At collection, ask us when you can lower the windows and first clean their inner surface. Film needs time to bond to the glass. Follow the instructions for the installed product; collecting the car does not mean drying is complete.
What can film look like while drying?
After wet installation, residual moisture can cause temporary haze or visual distortion. Drying time depends on the film and the conditions where the car is kept. This does not mean every bubble or mark is normal; send a photo and ask for an assessment if you are concerned.
How should you clean filmed windows?
Once the installer’s recommended waiting period has passed, use a clean, soft cloth and a cleaner suitable for automotive window film. Avoid abrasives, brushes and dirty cloths. Confirm cleaner compatibility with Maxuel VIGO; another brand’s instructions do not replace those for your film.
What if something concerns you?
Do not peel film edges or try to remove bubbles yourself. Contact us with the installation date, the affected window and when you noticed the change. A photo of the whole window and a close-up will help. If visibility is impaired, have the issue addressed before continuing to drive.
